WHO WE ARE

 

From the very beginning of our church’s relationship with you, we want you to know our intentions: your spiritual growth! Our relationship goal is to glorify God by helping people take the next step in their spiritual journey. That means, that regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey, we are interested in helping you take the next step. No matter what color you are, what denominational background you have or even other religious labels you might wear, no matter what you dress like, or whether you vote Republican or Democrat, we care about you, because God cares about you.

 
We are a church of people who don’t have it all figured out; but through a relationship with God and relationships with each other, we are walking this life’s journey…together. Our intention is that when you visit, you will immediately feel welcome. We want you to build long lasting friendships with others who also desire to know Christ and make Him known. Through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and through His Word, the Bible, we are striving to do just that.

Thank you for visiting our website. As you take the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the ministries of Evangel Baptist Church, I trust you will find some ministries that will benefit you and your family.

At Evangel Baptist Church it is our desire for everyone “To Know Christ And Make Him Known.” The ministries that you will find here are for this purpose. We strive to develop programs and opportunities for all ages that will help others know Christ and, as followers of Christ, grow in their spiritual lives. Our first concern is that you know salvation by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior. Evangel means “Good News” and there is no better news than to know Christ personally. There is no decision in life that is more important, for it is a choice that will determine your eternal destiny. Once you are saved there is nothing more important than the selection of a vibrant, Christ-centered church where spiritual growth is the focus. Many ministries are available here, but the focal point of Evangel is Jesus Christ – as we praise Him in worship and preach Him in word and in truth.
